I bought this chair because I'm 6'4" and haven't fit well in other chairs. The feet and shoulders adjust well, but my knees don't align properly because there is no adjustment for longer thighs. Additionally, you have to choose between using the head cushion and not feeling the neck/upper shoulder massage or removing the head cushion and sitting at an uncomfortable neck angle. Lastly, the rollers go in hard on the low back, but keep working the way down until they grind the back of the pelvis. I've had to abruptly move my pelvis out of the way to avoid the pain, but it still hurts pretty bad when I don't move out of the way in time. I've adjusted the manual settings multiple times, but it either doesn't maintain the adjusted range for the whole massage, or the rollers still obliterate my hips on the way to the butt massage.
It's a bummer, because the rest of the function is terrific. The mid back massage is on point, the foot and hand rollers are awesome, and the stretching function is terrific.
Thank you Aaron for your honest review of the Luraco i9 massage chair. It's important to try before buying, especially since you haven't fit well in other massage chairs. There are several intensity settings for the rollers so if it's bothering your lower back or pelvis you'll want to decrease the intensity. If you need to contact Luraco regarding any of the settings or to voice any concerns about the i9 they can be reached at 817-633-1080. You do have a 5 year parts and labor warranty with your purchase as well.
